Shanghai China Universal Charity Foundation
On February 9, 2010, China Universal Public Welfare Foundation was established with a donation of RMB 8 million from China Universal. It became the first charity foundation initiated by an asset management company in Shanghai.
In April 2012, CUAM won the "Shanghai Charity Award Loving Donation Enterprise" at the Second Shanghai Charity Commendation Conference, becoming the only fund company to win the award.
In Apr.2008, China Universal launched "River•Children", an ongoing charity education program with CBN (China Business Network). In more than 10 years, "River•Children" Program has covered 10 river basin in the middle and western part of China, helped constructing 10 well-equipped primary schools named after China Universal, and held 15 training programs for primary school teachers.
